assignment 1

My earliest memory of reading was in kindergarten. My teachers read to me only as much as they needed to. I loved the Franklin series, Aurthur series, but I really liked the Eye Spy books. I have had a hard time finding books that I really enjoy so I have not found a series that I love yet. I kind of liked to read as a child. I enjoyed funny stories, but I didn't really like the Black Lagoon series. Reading has always been a struggle for me. I think it was because the only help I could receive was at school. The Giving Tree really made difference in my life. It made me more appreciative because of it's sacrifices. I read for pleasure if I can find a book that I really enjoy. The books must flow smoothly and have a good pace. Anaid

  2. I loved to read funny stories also. Some times I feel stupid though when I start laughing out loud for no reason.

  3. I had a hard time with reading in school too. I think school was the only time I was expose to reading because my parents didn't read English and they were always busy providing for the family. I know, it's still like that for so many children now.
