I wonder so much about my mom
I feel so alone in this world
I don't know why the Preacher is the way he is sometimes
I need someone to be my friend

I feel like my life is a puzzle with a few missing pieces

This is a great I Poem. I could see Opal while I was reading it.
ReplyDeleteIt captures her loneliness and vulnerability eary in the story. It is interesting to compare this with her character at the end, she had grown alot.
